Courage In The HATERation

I am so overjoyed by Coco Gauff's US Open win this weekend!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ That joy is even more intensified by her display of faith, love for family, maturation (being a teenager---19 years old), class, and poise. In addition, she took the time to call out so-called haters. It resonated big time! It takes a lot to be silent and humble when it's evident that folk are trying to tear you apart, whether personally or professionally.

If you are on a journey of purpose that requires you to put yourself 'out there' for public scrutiny, you know exactly what she's talking about. Some people will find every angle to minimize, discount, discredit, and even ignore what you know God has 'purposed' you to do. Nevertheless, let the naysayers live in their "Land of Nay," while you continue to pray for the courage to do the "good" work that you love. The passion doesn't exist to result in a huge payday, but it is present to yield honor, joy, and fulfillment in doing what you've been gifted to do; to encourage and inspire God's people in some way. In that, The Cherry Vine will continue to spread vine'age, no matter how much the enemy tries to break the branches, the vines, or my spirit. God is in control! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Release moment! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks to all of you who have been riding with TCV from the beginning and to those who are new to the journey. Whether reading, commenting, sending pics, creating merchandise, participating in Read & Share groups, working book signings, sending an encouraging word, or providing constructive feedback, etc., I am grateful, grateful, grateful--- to God and for you! Purpose work isn't easy work, nor is it perfect work, but it is necessary work. I'm here for it!

Motivation Monday and Encouragement Every Day: Stay, Slay, and most importantly, PRAY---on the grind! Remember, Phillipians 4:13 speaks of "all things through Christ", not some things...

Peace & Blessings
