As Black History is truly all year, there may be some interviews and tributes coming throughout the year. I certainly want to highlight my grandfathers, Willie Edward "Son" Cherry and Leslie Cherry for their amazing accomplishments and business savvy that have gone without just recognition. This series always takes me back to the old African proverb that was the basis for an early TCV post, "Tell Your Story." The proverb was, "Until the lion learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter." Well, these honorees are here, and they are telling their story. I am grateful that they have allowed TCV to share a snippet of their story in writing. To God be the glory!!
