Insanity, Not Insanity

Someone once said that 'insanity' speaks to doing the same thing but expecting different results. In that, I have been insane for sure! Well, sometimes I still temporarily qualify by that definition. Lol.
Hmmm... I'm thinking about the brevity of this particular descriptive of 'insanity' and the inclusiveness of what it really means. Seems to me that the Lord loves us all the same, yet in His "same" agape love, I'm sure He wants different results. As we are flawed and sinful beings, He expects us to grow--- to live better; to serve better; to love better; to forgive more; to be better. That's not insanity. God is not insane---never has been, nor never will be considered, defined, described, looked upon, or referred to as such!
On the flip-side, it's not insanity to continue loving The Lord, although we should strive for better intimacy with Him, and expect Him to operate in different ways. That would be according to His will, not ours. In every way that matters, His reasons and results are never different. Yes, they are always the same...Love, forgiveness, salvation, protection, provision, purpose, trust, and the list goes on. Is it insane to think that way? I don't think so. Seems to me though, that it's way past time to stop referring to how God moves and loves us as "insane(ly)." How about lovingly, divinely, amazingly, incredibly, favorably, mercifully, gracefully, abundantly, beautifully, timely, blessedly, passionately, intimately....? What words do you have to add? Think about His goodness! Speak it in the atmosphere. 🙌🏾
Jesus, thank You for it all! Amen.
